# How to stake NFT

As explained [here](/doc/earnifty-infographics.md#the-vault-fee-structure-explained), staking Velas Punks and Velapes Academy allows you to earn VLX from the Vault auto-compound feature.

### How to stake Velas Punks

1. Go to [Earnifty ](https://www.earnifty.xyz/stake)or [Velas Punks](https://velaspunks.com/mynfts)
2. Connect your Wallet
3. Make sure you have Velas Punks
4. Approve the contract for Velas Punks you want to stake
5. Stake

**Holding a Velape allows you to stake without having to do anything.**
